Christie Will  is an award-winning writer, director, and producer, and the founder of Extraordinarily Unordinary Entertainment—a female filmmaker-driven production company. With a career spanning Hollywood and the Canadian film and television landscape, she is known for developing and producing projects that connect with global audiences while maintaining a distinct creative voice. As both a director, writer  and producer, Will  has built a reputation for giving space for award winning  performances, efficient production, and a collaborative, filmmaker-first approach. Her work spans genres and formats, earning international recognition as a director and writer  for its originality.

She first gained international attention when Slightly Single in L.A. became one of Netflix’s early acquisitions, followed by projects with Lionsgate and continued collaborations with globally recognized talent for television.  Over the course of her career, Will  has built long-standing creative relationships across the industry, working with a wide range of talent, producers, and distributors, forming a trusted network shaped by decades of experience. Through Extraordinarily Unordinary Entertainment, she now brings that foundation into a focused slate of  feature films and television -  all that  are elevated and character character-driven —while working with a curated group of collaborators who are not shy to create boldly and authentically. 

Beyond her work on screen, Will Wolf is a committed advocate for women in the industry. She currently serves as CEO of Women in Film Vancouver and is a recipient of the Directors Guild of Canada BC Legacy Award and the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award, as well as a nominee for RBC’s Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award. She also leads documentary and legacy storytelling work through Your Living Legacy, a platform focused on transforming personal histories into cinematic narratives.

She holds an MFA in Film and Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, a BFA from Emerson College, and a BA from the College of Charleston. She began her career in musical theatre before training at Playhouse West in Los Angeles under Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum—an experience that continues to inform her work with actors and her approach to performance.

She is the proud mother of two daughters, whom she is raising to be bold, fearless women.

Tara Cowell- Plain

Tara Cowell-Plain is an accomplished producer with credits spanning over 65 films, including independent features, television movies, and pilots for a wide range of outlets, including Lionsgate, Entertainment One, BBC, NBC, HBO, Lifetime, Tubi, and more. Her work has earned numerous accolades, including Emmy and Peabody Awards.

She has overseen all aspects of production—from development and financing through tax credits, production, post-production, and release—across multiple genres, with budgets ranging from $1M to $15M USD.

Recent highlights include Braven, starring Jason Momoa, and the Lionsgate release Dragged Across Concrete, starring Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn.

In addition to producing, Cowell-Plain has expanded into directing, helming her first television film in 2020 and continuing to direct across multiple platforms.

Most recently, she has produced a slate of Tubi Originals, including Festival of the Living Dead, starring Ashley Moore and Camren Bicondova, and Calamity Jane, starring Stephen Amell and Emily Rickards.

A respected leader and collaborator, Cowell-Plain brings a rare balance of creative instinct and production expertise. Known for her resourcefulness, problem-solving, and deep understanding of story, she is a valued partner across every stage of production.
